COBRA Golf, a leader in golf club innovation and 3D-printing technology, today announced the introduction of two new 3D-printed iron models, the 3DP MB and 3DP X. In combination with the previously introduced 3DP Tour (which is aimed at Tour to mid-handicap players desiring a mid- to high-launch), the 3DP family now offers ultra-premium iron performance for the full range of ability levels from Tour players to high- handicappers.
Like the Tour-validated 3DP TOUR irons, which have been adopted by a number of players including Max Homa and Gary Woodland, the new MB and X models utilize 3D-printing technology to unlock a new level of performance that delivers the look and feel of forged players irons with the forgiveness and enhanced distance of much larger designs. The 3DP MB shaping is based loosely on Cobra’s KING MB model, but with slightly more offset and a thinner topline, while the X model is similar in size and shape to Cobra’s KING TEC X irons but with forgiveness similar to the game improvement DS-ADAPT model.

3DP MB irons:
Featuring a slim, muscleback design similar to that of the KING MB irons, the 3DP MB is aimed at players ranging from Tour to 10-handicappers who demand the ultimate in precision and feel. The 3DP MB is a one-piece, fully 3D-printed blade constructed from 316L stainless steel using DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering), a manufacturing method used to produce complex designs that cannot be achieved through traditional casting or forging methods.
3DP X irons:
Designed for 10-20 handicappers looking for super game-improvement performance and high launch in a sleek package with unmatched feel, the 3DP X irons can be played by just about anyone. Like the other irons in Cobra’s 3DP family, each X iron is fully 3D-printed from 316L stainless steel using a DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering) process and features an internal lattice structure for weight savings and improved weight distribution. For enhanced forgiveness and higher launch, the 3DP X irons also feature tungsten weights in the toe and hosel, increasing MOI and stability on off-center hits. Unlike many game improvement and distance irons, Cobra’s new 3DP X irons feature a one-piece design without the addition of a face insert, yielding a more solid and traditional feel.

MSRP for the 3DP MB and 3DP X will be $1980 for a 6 piece set configuration in RH and LH with KBS $-Taper 110 steel shafts and Lamkin Crossline grips offered in stock set configurations. A 3-iron and Gap Wedge as well as a wide variety of custom shafts and grips are available through custom order. The new 3DP MB and 3DP X irons will be available for Pre-Sale on January 6th 2026 and at retail on 1/9/26.
